1-year support

This scheme is open to cultural institutions and organizations that through a 1-year programme of activities for 2024, contribute to the high quality, development and professionalization of design, architecture or digital culture and the crossovers between them, and that stimulate interest in these disciplines. Programmes that are eligible for 1-year support must at least have regional significance.

exclusion of other grant schemes

Institutions receiving subsidy under this grant scheme may not claim subsidies from the Design, Architecture, Digital Culture of the Creative Industries Fund NL during the calendar years covered by this grant.

2-year support

In 2024 there is no round for 2-year activities programmes.

The evaluation of applications takes place on the basis of the 1- and 2-year Activities Programme Grant Scheme 2023–2024. These describe the conditions, criteria and objectives.

Guide to the Model Budget for a One-Year Programme

The Guide to the Model Budget for a One- and Two-Year Programme provides guidance on how to draw up a complete budget. It is compulsory to use the Format to the Model Budget for a One-Year Programme.

what is assessed?

Applications for a 1-year activities programme are assessed by the scheme's advisory committee. This is done on the basis of the 1- and 2-year Activities Programme Grant Scheme 2023–2024.

assessment criteria

- artistic and social value
- relevance of the chosen theme for the field
- degree of diversity in audience reach
- consistency of the application's purpose and design

Applications for a 2-year activity program are assessed internally by the fund. This involves checking whether the application meets all formal requirements to be eligible for a subsidy.

what happens with your application?

acceptance

When you have submitted your application, the Fund Desk will check if your application complies with the formal requirements of the 1- and 2-year Activities Programme Grant Scheme 2023–2024.

assessment

An independent advisory committee will assess your application (max. 16 pages per application) on the basis of the 1- and 2-year Activities Programme Grant Scheme 2023–2024. The committee advises the Fund's Board.

prioritization

If the total of applications eligible for funding exceeds the budget of the grant round available, prioritization will take place.

decision

The Board takes account of the committee's advice in its decision on rejection or provision of the grant. You will be notified about the result in a decision.

accountability

If you receive a grant from the Fund, then you will have to comply with the obligations. Two weeks before the conclusion of your project, you will be asked by email to submit your accountability form in the application environment.
